Families and Friends of the Wrongfully Convicted and others will be together in unity to bring awareness to the hatred and brutality that men and women are subjected to on a daily basis. It’s unfortunate a video is what captured your attention but yet our people continue to suffer while in prison. We count on you to make a difference and it can start today at 3pm in front of Governor Hocul’s office located at 633 Third Avenue between 40th and 41st Street. I hope to see you showing support for the brutal death of Robert Brooks at the hands of correction officers at Marcy Correctional Facility, on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 4 pm. Formerly incarcerated individuals, community advocates, religious leaders, and grassroots organizations will hold a rally today to demand that she look into all claims of physical abuse alleged by people in Marcy prison.
