If you're able, assign yourself a product or two, purchase them over MEA break, and send them to school with your student on Monday, with a note stating it's for the PTO. Are your students avid animal lovers? Visit Mississippi Gateway Regional Park this Sunday, October 18th from 1:00-3:00pm to meet their Animal Ambassadors! Visit their live animals up close and discover what makes these critters unique! All ages welcome; programming is outdoors, so dress for the weather!

In need of extra groceries this season? Visit Zanewood Recreation Center on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 12:00-2:00pm for their Good in the 'Hood Food Distribution. This FREE community event is open to all; no need to register prior to the event.
Each individual is eligible for up to 30 pounds of food, and each dependent will receive an additional 15 pounds. First come, first served, while supplies last. Choose from a variety of fresh dairy products, nutrient-rich fresh produce, meats, and protein sources. Spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors! Lets keep our community nourished!
