💚 Introducing... Our Genesis Group Homes DSP's of the month! 💚
April's DSP of the Month:
Steven M. - DSP at Zimmerman
Steven’s warm approach and gentle demeanor has been a great asset to the Zimmerman site. This has built a strong rapport with both the individuals and the staff. We appreciate how Steven is always willing to go above and beyond to help when there is an emergency. He has picked up more than his share of open shifts during a shortage of staff at the Zimmerman site. Steven has a positive attitude and is always willing to take direction for a new technique or skill in providing support for our individuals at the site.
Laura's DSP of the Month:
Bendu P. - DSP at Corcoran
This past month, Corcoran had an individual hospitalized, and then discharged with new dietary needs. Bendu has taken the initiative to train coworkers on the diet and how to track their nutrition intake. Corcoran has also started using EVV; the check in and check-out system in Therap. Bendu has been teaching coworkers on how it works. Bendu works cohesively with her coworkers to ensure their shifts run smoothly as a team. Bendu - we thank you for your dedication to the individuals and all the support you give to them and the Corcoran team!
Melanie's DSP of the Month:
Isatou C. - DSP Edinbrook
I would like to congratulate and nominate our brand-new DSP 2, Ida Cham for DSP of the month. Ida has done an outstanding job with going the extra mile and stepping up here at Edinbrook with the transition of previous DSP 3 taking on the House Supervisor role at another site. Ida has shown such enthusiasm coming to HS with wanting to learn new responsibilities. She is a great role model to her oncoming new staff, always coming on shift and having a positive attitude always smiling, taking on her tasks with grace.
Melvin's DSP of the Month:
Lisa S. - Oak Grove
Lisa is a newer staff to Oak Grove, and she has immediately demonstrated commitment to providing the highest quality of services to the individuals at Oak Grove. Lisa demonstrates consistent performance in completing tasks promptly and engages with the individuals in a relatable and approachable manner.

Michon's DSP of the Month:
Jacob L.
Jacob is our overnight staff at the Mounds View site and he's nothing short of amazing. Jacob makes his client care a focus during each of his shifts. Jacob always has a positive attitude and greets everyone with a smile on his face at the beginning and end of every shift. Jacob is appreciated by all the clients and always dives headfirst into any situation no matter the difficulty. He has also picked up last minute shifts and chose to work with difficult clients despite knowing the challenges. Jacob's documentation is never missing and alwasy completed timely and his attendence is spectacular. We are so grateful to have Jacob be a part of the Mounds View team and hope he continues to thrive at our site.
Missy's DSP of the Month:
Hamza O. - DSP at Anoka
Hamza started working for Genesis this past June and has been an amazing addition to the Anoka team. Hamza takes direction well and is willing to be flexible when it comes to working with any
individual. Hamza is a reliable staff who has built great rapports with all the individuals he works with. He shows up to work with a great attitude and a smile on his face. Hamza has expressed interest in following the DSP growth plan and applying for the DSP 2 position as soon as he has been employed for 6 months. Hamza is receptive to new ideas and is always looking for ways to improve the lives of the individuals he works with. Thank you, Hamza, for making a difference in people's lives every day. Your Commitment and Enthusiasm shines bright.
Shannon's DSP of the Month:
Taylor A. - DSP at Nokay Lake
Taylor Works at the Nokay lake house. She always comes to work focused on the girls and ready to work with a smile. She encourages and pushes the girls to be their best self, she is patient, kind, and easy to get along and be with. She has great ideas for things to do with the clients. Taylor is a jack of all trades, she’s more than willing to help and has many skills. Taylor shows up on time for all her shifts and is reliable. Her energy and attitude create a great vibe in the house and makes work an even more enjoyable time. are to see We are so lucky to have her here at Nokay.
