This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the moms in our Union who do it all, on the job and at home.

Every worker deserves the time, pay, and respect to support their family. That’s what we fight for together.

REI workers and shoppers are set to BOYCOTT the co-op’s biggest sale of the year, and it’s time for YOU to join them.
This boycott is a direct response to four years of union-busting and bad-faith bargaining from the company.
If REI truly believes in its co-op values, it’s time for them to prove it at the bargaining table and deliver a fair contract for the workers who keep it running.
No contract. No sale.
🚨 Boycott the REI Anniversary Sale: May 15–25🚨

“Worker Power is how we win.”

On May 2, Union members and community allies gathered in Rochester, Minnesota for the “Fight the Oligarchy” tour, featuring U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan.

Among those in attendance was Josh Nelson, a member of UFCW Local 663 at QPP, who took the stage to share his experience as a Union worker.

The spirit of Cinco de Mayo is rooted in resistance and collective strength.

Unions have long been powered by the contributions of Mexican and Mexican American workers, whose labor, culture, and leadership continue to shape our movement. Today, we celebrate that legacy and recommit to fighting for dignity, fair wages, safe workplaces, and justice for all.

Today marks the start of something big for working people in Minnesota. Phase one of the Rise Up Center is officially underway, laying the foundation for a powerful new workforce develpment and community space in Minneapolis.

The Rise Up Center will create pathways to well-paid Union jobs, support small businesses, and be a carbon-neutral, climate resilience hub.

We’re proud to join our partners Unidos MN, New Justice Project MN, SEIU Local 26, Minnesota Training Partnership, Unite Here! Local 17, The Building Dignity and Respect Council, Tending the Soil, and Future Builders’ Cooperative, LLC in building this new community-centered space in Uptown Minneapolis.

“We need now, more than ever, elected officials that will fight for our safety on the job, for affordability, for Unions, and for our rights as workers," said Josh Nelson, 663 member at Quality Pork Processing.

“That's why I support U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and that's why our Union, UFCW Local 663, has endorsed Peggy Flanagan for Senate.”

Josh spoke to hundreds of Union members and community members at the Fight the Oligarchy Tour in Rochester, MN. Great job, Josh!

Happy International Workers' Day!

United Food and Commercial Workers Local 663 (Local 663) stands in solidarity with people in Minnesota and across the country who will engage in May Day Strong actions on May 1st. While supporting participation in this day of action, Local 663 is not encouraging or authorizing members to engage in any form of strike or work stoppage, and all Local 663 members should honor the no-strike provision in their labor agreement and report to work as scheduled on May 1st.

However, Local 663 supports and encourages all of its members to engage in May Day Strong activities, such as refraining from shopping, staying home from school, attending rallies outside of work hours, and other lawful actions that do not conflict with work obligations.
