Wayzata's championship experience showed again with a fourth consecutive state title.

Nolan Beduhn rallied for a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3, Ethan Turunen came back to win 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-1 and top-seeded Wayzata clinched its fourth consecutive Class AA Boys Tennis state championship with a 4-3 win over No. 2 Edina on Wednesday, June 3 at the University of Minnesota’s Baseline Tennis Center.

Dramatic victories at No. 1 and No. 4 Singles propelled St. Paul Academy to a fifth consecutive state title.

Sophomore Luca Kempcke sealed a fifth consecutive and ninth overall state championship for St. Paul Academy, 4-3 over Breck, with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 Singles. The second-seeded Spartans scored a pair of dramatic Singles wins to rally past the No. 1 Mustangs.
