Earlier in May, New Dawn! Foundation & Trust founder and patron, Wakili Henry Ongeri, hosted a reception for the 20 current Bwakire Se! Scholars and their parents/guardians in Nyamira County, Kenya.
The Scholars receive financial support annually for their four years of high school.This reception was covered locally by Getembe TV & FM.

New Dawn! Foundation & Trust founder and patron Wakili Henry M. Ongeri met with the Bwakire Se! Scholars together with their parents and guardians on Tuesday 2nd May, in Nyamira County.

The Bwakire Se! Scholars program current has twenty students, ten in From 3 and ten in Form 2, in various schools across Kenya. Under this Programme the students are given financial support annually towards their tuition for their four years of high school education.

Nyajuok T. Doluony, one of the presenters at the recently concluded Building the Roadmap to Sustainable Peace in South Sudan Conference, is interviewed about her book 'I Am My Mother's Wildest Dream'.

Nyajuok spoke about the importance of involving youth and women in the South Sudan Peace process at the Conference.
