✨ SCHOLARSHIP HIGHLIGHT! ✨
MEET DECLAN an FFC Scholar who attended Kenzie’s Camp! 💙

For Declan, camp was about finding community, building confidence, and knowing he wasn’t alone.

“Like many children, he wondered if he would fit in. Those worries quickly disappeared as he met other campers with facial differences, especially other children born with cleft lip and palate. For perhaps the first time, he was surrounded by peers who shared similar experiences, and that sense of belonging made an incredible impact.”

REPOST from 𝗛𝘂𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 ❤ / For the past week or so, Hudson has been setting goals for himself.
Wheelchair to toilet, wheelchair to standing at toilet, wheelchair to walker, walker to toilet, walker to bath tub, getting himself in and out of bath tub, getting in van, getting out of van, (I’m sure I’m missing some.) and.....
TODAY walker to van and walker to PT!! I cried happy tears all the way to PT.
It’s been a long hard road and to witness him crush goal after goal, so fast, has been surreal. I knew eventually it’ll click, once he dropped that fear.
