Ivy Street School

The Ivy Street School is a special education residential and day high school for neurodivergent youth.

We work with students to prepare them for adulthood with the tools they need to achieve their greatest independence. At Ivy Street, we support neurodivergent youth through a person-centered model that is driven by collaboration, a willingness to think big, and a commitment to really knowing the young people we serve. Across our educational, residential, and community-based programs, we support ado

lescents and young adults with disabilities by creating the therapeutic conditions that allow them to thrive. Our approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and laser-focused on strengthening healing, deepening community, building skills, and accelerating motivation for successful adulthood.

July is Disability Pride Month!

As we close out this July, we want to reflect on disability pride, the advocacy and celebration that this month represents, and how we'll be continuing this pride throughout the entire year!

This year marks the 36th anniversary of the ADA, and we are thrilled to be recognizing and celebrating disability pride, and to continue building awareness and advocating with and for communities with disabilities.

Happy Juneteenth! Ivy Street students and staff celebrated Juneteenth this week on our last day before summer break. We hope that everybody has a happy and safe holiday today as we recognize this important date in American history.

We are so proud of all of our 2026 Ivy Street School graduates! Congratulations to all of you!

This past Thursday, we recognized and celebrated five Ivy Street School graduates at our graduation ceremony and celebration. We will miss you all, but we are so excited to see where your next chapter in life takes you! Congratulations!

Ivy Street is looking for volunteer Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists who will work with our students to help make their prom a magical night!

Ivy Street Prom is on Thursday, May 28th, and pictures begin at 4:00 pm. We are looking for your volunteered skills before prom at Ivy Street School (200 Ivy Street Brookline, MA 02446)
