As we gear up for another exciting Habitat building season, we're looking for individuals, families, businesses, churches, and community groups willing to provide lunch for our hardworking Foundation Crew volunteers.

These dedicated volunteers spend their days helping build safe, affordable homes in our community, and a simple meal goes a long way in keeping them fueled and encouraged.

✅ Meals can be homemade, catered, or purchased from a local restaurant
✅ Flexible dates available throughout the building season
✅ Great opportunity for groups to give back together

This Memorial Day, Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Because of their courage and dedication, we are able to build stronger communities, create safe places to call home, and work together in service to others.

As we gather with family and friends, we remember that freedom is never free. We are deeply grateful to those who gave everything for the opportunities and freedoms we enjoy each day.

We’re full steam ahead into another exciting Habitat building season! 🚧🏠

Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity is proud to officially begin breaking ground on TWO new homes right here in the Brookings community. These homes represent more than just walls and roofs—they represent stability, opportunity, and a brighter future for local families.

A huge thank you to Prussman Contracting Inc. & Banner Associates, Inc. for helping us kick things off with the dirt work and site preparation. We are grateful for community partners who help make affordable homeownership possible!
