The Wild Rivers Coast Foundation for Dance was proud to support another unforgettable Azalea Festival Parade entry this year! With the help of our dedicated families, volunteers, and creative team, we brought Wonderland to life with a colorful float, iconic characters, and an enormous Cheshire Cat puppet—all performed by our incredible student dancers.
We are deeply thankful for the hard work and heart that went into every costume, prop, and rehearsal. Events like this embody our mission: to provide inclusive, enriching dance experiences that build community and spark joy across generations.
We’re also thrilled to share that our entry received the Grand Marshal’s Award—what an honor!
A heartfelt thank-you to our generous grantors and community partners who help make this possible: AllCare Health , Advanced Health , the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, Curry County Cultural Coalition, Brookings Harbor Education Foundation, Inc. Wild Rivers Community Foundation and our local partners and sponsors. Your support ensures that children and families from all walks of life can access the joy of dance.
Looking ahead, we can’t wait to present our full-length "Alice in Wonderland" production in summer 2025. It’s not too late for dancers to join the cast, and we welcome new supporters who want to help make this magic possible.
Thank you, Brookings, for cheering us on—we’re grateful to be dancing in and for this community.
