Ole Brook Wind Symphony

Ole Brook Wind Symphony The Ole Brook Wind Symphony is an all volunteer group. There is no age limit, no dues or fees.

A wind symphony is an orchestra made up of brass and woodwind instruments
with no stringed instruments. Percussion section of drums, timpany, bells, cymbals,
xylophone and other specialty instruments are required in both a wind symphony and
a full symphony orchestra.

Spring practices for the Ole Brook Wind Symphony will begin Tuesday, February 10. As always anyone that plays a band instrument is welcome! Practices are at Alexander Middle School band hall in Brookhaven and begin at 7 PM.

The Ole Brook Wind Symphony’s Christmas Concerts are approaching quickly!! Mark your calendars!!!
*Tuesday December 9 in McComb at the State Theater
*Tuesday December 16 in Brookhaven at Easthaven Baptist Chirch
Both concerts will begin at 7PM and as always, are free.

After a great summer break, OBWS will begin fall practices Tuesday September 16. As always, practice will begin at 7PM at Alexander middle school Band Hall in Brookhaven.

The Swing Band of the Ole Brook Wind Symphony will present 2 concerts The concerts are free, with donations encouraged! The concerts will be:
Friday August 1 from 6-7 PM at the Railroad Park Stage in downtown Brookhaven
Saturday August 2 from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Exchange Club Fair in Brookhaven.
Come and bring your chair or blanket and enjoy some sentimental, upbeat and patriotic music.
