Some info from Briarwood Park about their next cleanup day and upcoming meetings and celebrations:

"[C]ome help us clean up Briarwood Park Saturday morning, May 31, 9am-2pm. We’ll have a great day of fun moving woodchips, working in the community garden, mowing grass, picking up trash and blowing the trails. Please bring work gloves, water, long sleeve pants and shirts, eye protection, sunscreen and mosquito repellant. Hopefully, the pool will be open for an after work party swim.

Then we celebrate Tuesday evening, June 3nd, for the monthly Briarwood Park Conservancy meeting. We’ll give an update of the bathroom construction schedule, discuss the park improvements progress and preview the daylilies about to bloom. Hamburgers and hotdogs at the Forest Patio with ice scream sandwiches for the kids provided by Briarwood Park Conservancy. Bring your own drinks. There are no conflicting City meetings that night."
