Our scouts are ready and excited to collect toy donations along tomorrow’s parade route and Santa’s Village following the parade!

Pack 493 participated in a service project at our charter organization, REAL Church-Brookhaven on Thursday evening. Scouts assisted with packaging meals for the church’s annual Thanksgiving food distribution for local families in need. Great job to our AOL scouts for also organizing a food drive to support this project.

Thank you to Pastor Ben and the REAL Church for inviting our scouts to participate again this year!

Pack 493 is excited to announce our new service project. This holiday season, our cub scouts will be collecting toys which will be given to local families in need this holiday season. Donations will be accepted along the parade route during Brookhaven’s Holiday Parade, and immediately following the parade in the parking lot of Coebourn Elementary.

Brookhaven, Pa Veteran’s Day ceremony. Pack and Troop 493 are always proud to participate in this important event as we honor our veterans.

2025 Pack 493 Halloween party. Our scouts and families enjoyed a night of games, food, dancing, and a costume contest. Special thanks to our unofficial party planner Samantha Reeder, our guest judges from Troop 493, Troop 493 scouts for running the games, our in-house DJ Jim Levi, as well as all the leaders who helped with setup & cleanup!

Our scouts are taught from day one that if you work hard, you get to play hard. Several of our scouts got to experience that first hand last night as they were eligible to attend a special outing at Ramsey’s Farm for reaching their partial sales goal during our annual popcorn fundraiser. The scouts had a blast on the hayride, playground, s’mores and cider around the fire, and finding their way through the flashlight maze!

Pack 493 held our annual fall campout at Ridley Creek State Park last weekend. Our scouts got practice pitching tents, review our Leave No Trace principle, and join in on some classic campfire songs and “spooky” stories led by the scouts, all while enjoying some delicious s’mores!

Pack 493 kicked off another year of scouting at our pack meeting last night . We welcomed new members, introduced our leaders, reviewed all the exciting events planned for the year, and enjoyed a skit by our very own leaders titled “How NOT to sell popcorn!”

Now is the perfect time to join our pack. Children ages K-5th grade welcome. Join us on at an upcoming event to see what scouting is all about.
