Soft paper bags line the quiet street,
A ribbon of light at winter’s feet.
Each small flame, a hopeful glow,
Guiding hearts where memories go.

Cold air hums with carols old,
Stories passed, again retold,
Hands that fold, and wicks that spark,
Turning dusk into gentle dark.

Footsteps crunch on frosted ground,
Neighbors pause, no words, just sound,
The hush of peace, the candle’s cheer,
A sacred pause at year’s frontier.

Luminaries, steady and bright,
Hold our wishes through the night.
They light the paths we’ve always known,
Love, tradition, carried home.

🎄❄️ We’ll be out and about a little early this morning, around 7:00 AM, beginning to pick up the bags and candles. If you’re interested in helping out, we’d love the extra hands!

🕯️ Wow, we did it! Thank you to every volunteer who came out today to help create such a magical luminary display. This truly would not have been possible without you.

💨 The wind definitely made things challenging and slowed down the lighting process. A few bags caught flame, and some candles were stubborn, but with everyone pitching in and working together, we brought the luminaires to life and created something truly special.

💕 The final stretch, between the Eaton Family property and the end of the Cemetery , was nothing short of a miracle. To whoever completed that section, a huge THANK YOU for finishing off this year’s annual display!
