This years Bike Camp at the Sandhill Station Campground in Lake Mills was a great success. Troop 55 Scouts got in the first 10+ mile bike trip as they work on their bicycling merit badge.

Congrats to the Troop 55 Scouts who were awarded items at the Spring Court of Honor last night. Collectively, they earned 10 rank Badges, and 50 Merit Badges since October of last year. That's outstanding given most of this work was done outside a Summer Camp setting. Nice work Scouts, keep it up.

Last weekend Troop 55 Scouts had a great time launching Rockets at Rocket Camp at Camp Whitcomb/Mason in Hartland. They also worked on the Exploring merit badge. Big Thanks to Mr. Stellmacher and Mr. Zembinski for helping our Scouts have a safe and successful launch.

Troop 55 would like to welcome five new Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 55 Brookfield Elementary who earned their Arrow of Light and crossed over to Troop 55 yesterday. Let the adventure begin!

Congrats to one of Troop 55's Scouts, Phin, for volunteering with Taps for Veterans we appreciate you bringing your time and talents to this wonderful organization.

🎺 Welcome to the Taps for Veterans family, Phin Metzler! 🇺🇸

We’re proud to introduce one of our newest volunteers—Phin Metzler, a service-driven, disciplined young leader who’s already living the values that matter most: showing up, doing the work, and serving others.

A 7th grader at Wisconsin Hills Middle School, Phin balances academics, athletics, and music with maturity beyond his years. He trains in Muay Thai, learning conditioning and mental toughness, and he plays soccer, where teamwork and grit take the field together.

And then there’s the music—Phin plays guitar, piano, trumpet, and bugle. He doesn’t see music as something to “perform,” but something to give. He understands what we all know: when those moments arrive, preparation matters… because families remember every note.

Phin is also active in , working steadily toward Eagle Scout, and he aspires to someday serve as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps —drawn by a calling to lead and serve at the highest level.

Phin, we’re honored to have you with us. Your willingness to step forward brings hope to families on their hardest day.

Taps for Veterans

Last Weekend, Troop 55 Scouts had a great time cabin camping at the MacKenzie Center in Poynette, WI. They enjoyed the facilities, learned about the animals in care there and worked on the Photography merit badge.

Scouts from Troop 55 recently enjoyed a successful campout at Devil's Lake State Park. They hiked the bluffs and enjoyed the Fall scenery and weather.

Scouts from Troop 55 are at Metro Market in Brookfield Today selling Popcorn. They will be there until 8 pm. Stop by and stock up on snacks for the game tomorrow, and help support our Troop.

Troop 55 Scouts had an opportunity to Camp at Road America this last weekend during their Ariens Art On Wheels Vintage Weekend. There were fireworks, bikes, and a lot of vintage races they could watch. They had an amazing time.
