Live Music Memory from December 14, 2014

An innovated idea of having live music on a Sunday afternoon was made a reality with the team up of Rev Raven and the Chain Smoking Alter Boys with Tweed Funk for a afternoon of Music and Dancing. The result of this idea, through the Post 449 Music coordinator, Mike Pook was able to book this event in which over 90 people came in with a $10 cover charge on a Sunday afternoon. Not only music enthusiasts came out, a number of local musicians enjoyed the Sunday afternoon of music. By 2015, through events like this one, the Blues Jams and Saturday night music, helped to establish a solid reputation for live music venue at 449.

It took lots of work on multiple nights of live music that helped paved its way for many more Sunday afternoons of live music with a cover charge. A Great Time was had by all!

See how they dodge bullets and don't get yourself roped into telling them your secrets! The wonder women of Post 449. Beyond our super bar staff, patrons enjoyed the super sounds coming frome the stage. Oh Yes....Freddie and the Cruiser played 8 to midnight with classic rock and Johnny Cash live music.
