Local Cub Scouts from Pack 159 are once again participating in the Scouting for Food drive, collecting your donations of non-perishable foods to benefit the Brookfield Ecumenical Food Pantry. This weekend (Nov 4/5) the scouts will be placing door hangers on homes across Brookfield. Please say "hi" when you see us around.

Next Saturday (Nov 11), between 9 and 11, the scouts will return and collect the donations left outside your homes. We'll bring the donations to the food pantry and help weigh and sort the food.
The door hangers will have more details on this program, and we're happy to answer any questions you may have - either below, via DM, or on the number on the hangers.

We had two groups of scouts participate in our 3rd Hiking Club hike, this time at Peaked Mountain. The views were amazing both days. Congrats to the 13 scouts that have now hiked over 5 miles - they have earned a custom patch!

Last weekend was busy for Pack 159! Blue and Gold celebration on Friday including a TVSR summer camp presentation followed by some crazy science experiments (thanks to Mad Science of Western New England)! We wrapped up the weekend with a 2.5 mile loop at the Leadmine Trails in Sturbridge. This was our second Hiking Club hike and we had almost all of our active scouts participate!

Happy New Year! We had a great turnout for our inaugural Hiking Club hike this mild January day - a quick 1 mile walk around picturesque Dean Pond. The Scouts all agreed that our February hike needs to be longer!

The Cub Scouts will be going door to door selling popcorn Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm. They will have many delicious flavors including Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, Chocolate Covered Pretzels and the fan favorite, Salted Caramel. Help support the Cub Scouts and enjoy a tasty snack!
