BROOKFIELD SADDLE CLUB 2026 SHOW SEASON

Time to mark your calendars with the dates for the 2026 season of the Brookfield Saddle Club shows.

We will be hosting 4 shows again this season -- 2 Points/Performance Shows and 2 Fun Shows.

The dates for the Points/Performance Shows are:

Sunday, August 16th Judging: Jack Birkhimer

Sunday, September 20th Judging: Ashley Wells

Please note that we have a new class to our class list for the points shows: Open Pony Pleasure (E/W). Not yet slotted in to the list but should have that information soon.

The dates for the Fun Shows are: Saturday, June 20th

Saturday, October 3rd

We are currently in the process of doing some revisions to our class list/showbills for these shows and as soon as they are ready they will be emailed and also posted on our page (The Brookfield Saddle Club) (Please like us or follow us if you are not currently doing so)

If you have any questions or comments, please email them and we will get back to you shortly.

Please mark you calendars and please pass the information along to your friends.

Also, as we are always looking for new members to help us to continue our 75+ years of hosting horse shows, we ask that you please consider joining our club as active members to help us prepare for and hold these shows. As a member, you can still participate in the shows, and help out between your classes or before and after the shows with grounds maintenance and preparation. Fall Finale Fun Show - Saturday, Oct 4, 2025

Just a reminder that our final show of the 2025 season is just around the corner. Our Fun Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, starting at 10 AM

Hoping to see many of you at the show to wrap up our 2025 season with a good turnout.

Also, a reminder that after almost 20 years of fun shows at $1 per class, we have found it necessary to raise the entry fee to $2 per class. Grounds fee will remain at $5 per horse.

MEMBERSHIP: We would ask that you please consider becoming a member of our club to join us in putting on these shows and continuing the 75+ years of the Brookfield Saddle Club shows. If interested in joining, please contact us at: [email protected]

To all that were at our show on Aug. 16th, and if you haven't already done so, please check your trucks and trailers for a missing hub cap. This was found near the driveway too the show grounds. And if you aren't missing one, please check with your friends that may have been there to see if they are missing one.

POINTS SHOW - SAT, AUG 16, 2025

Just a quick reminder that the Brookfield Saddle Club will hold it's second points show for 2025 on Saturday, Aug. 16th. Show starts at 10 AM, so if you are showing in the halter classes, please be sure to be there in time to get ready and signed up.

Also, we are in need of some new members to help us with the grounds maintenance and with putting on our shows. Please consider joining us to keep our 75+ years of horse shows to keep going. Please ask for more information through: brookfieldsaddleclub@yahoo..com, or at the sign-up booth at the show. Dues are $10 for families and $5 for individuals.

Brookfield Saddle Club Membership Appeal

We are always looking for and needing more members so that we can continue to host shows at our grounds. We need members that will actively participate in attending meetings, planning shows, working at shows (you can still show at the shows, helping in between your classes), and grounds maintenance.

Yearly dues are $5 per individual and $10 per family.

Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at 1 PM, at the Globe Restaurant at Truck World in Hubbard. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to attend this meeting with no obligation to join. Please message me if you think you might attend so that we can try to have enough chairs set up. Feel free to attend even if you haven't let me know. Also, if you would like to join but can't make the meeting, you can mail your dues payment and we can get you signed up (Message me for the mailing address and I will send the address and what information we need to complete the membership form).

If you have any questions, please message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Brookfield Saddle Club 2025 Show Season

We are a bit late getting our show dates set, but now we have them and they will be listed here. Showvbills/class lists are not yet finalized, but will be posted as soon as they are ready.

First, a very important announcement. After about 20 years of having our Fun Shows with $1 per class entry fee, we find it necessary to increase the class entry fees to $2 per class. At this time, the grounds fee for the Fun Shows will remain the same. We hope that you understand and will continue to support our Fun Shows.

Show dates for 2025 are:

Points/Performance shows: Saturday July 12th
Saturday Aug 16th

Fun Shows: Sunday July 13th
Saturday Oct 4th

Please put our show dates on your schedule for this season and again we hope that you will continue to support our shows. Hope to see you all soon.

Fall Finale Fun Show - Thank You !!

The members of the Brookfield Saddle Club would like to thank all of you that came out to our Fall Finale Fun Show and helped us to finish out one of our most successful show seasons in quite some time.

We will soon be setting dates for our 2025 season, and as soon as we have them finalized, they will be posted here and sent out to all on our email list. Class lists will be revised and posted/emailed sometime early in 2025. If you are not on our email list and would like to receive notifications of shows/events at our grounds, please send your email address to: [email protected] and we will add you to our list. All emails are sent using blind carbon copy (BCC), so your email address is not seen by anyone else, and most all emails will be concerning shows and events at our grounds.

As we look ahead to 2025, we are in need of more members to actively help in planning the shows, keeping up the grounds, and being present and helping the day of the shows. Please consider joining and helping so that we can keep these shows going.

And one last thing. If you were at the Fall Finale Fun Show, and if you happened to take pictures or videos of the Colors Presentation during the singing of the national anthem, it would be greatly appreciated if you would please share them through Facebook Message. Thanks.

Fall Finale Fun Show !!!

Just a last reminder of our show coming up this Saturday, Oct 5th, staring at 10 AM. As of right now, the weather for Saturday looks to be fantastic for the show. We hope that you would join us for the show to wrap up one our most successful show seasons in quite some time, with a successful season final Fun Show. As part of our show, we are going to have a short remembrance ceremony to honor past members who contributed so much to keeping the Brookfield Saddle Club in operation for all these years.

So, if you have the time to join us on Saturday, we would be very happy to see you there.

FUN DRIVING EVENT CANCELLATION !!! SEP. 21, 2024

The Brookfield Saddle Club expresses their apologies to anyone who's plans may be disrupted by this, but due to unforeseen circumstances and lack of interest in participating, we are canceling our Fun Driving Event scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 21. Lack of is the main reason for the cancellation. After notices on facebook, emails, and phone calls made yesterday and today (Monday and Tuesday) to past participants, we only had one person that responded and commited to being at the event.

Again, our apologies for any inconvenience to anyone.

Thank You for the August Weekend of Shows 2024

The members of the Brookfield Saddle Club would like to extend a huge thank you too all who attended one or both of our August weekend of shows. The Points Show on Aug. 24 and the Fun Show on the 25th were both well attended. For the Saturday points show, we had almost 50 horses registered, almost 60 riders/handlers, and almost 170 classes entered. Our Sunday fun show also was a great time with lots of fun and laughs throughout the day.

Both shows also provided us with quite a few new faces to our shows. We thank you for giving us a try and hope to see you back at future shows.

We have 2 more shows this season. On Saturday Sep. 21st, we will hold our Fun Driving Event, and Saturday. Oct. 5th , we will have our 2nd Fun Show of the season.

Hope to see many of you at one or both of these shows. If you have any questions about any of our shows or events, please message us.

And finally, we can always use more members to help us to put on these shows, so please consider joining the Brookfield Saddle Club.
