WARNING!!! GRAPIC INJURY PHOTOS IN COMMENTS

On 1/24/25 a feeder at a site in Burtonsville Md picked up this injured friendly cat that had been attacked by a dog, coyote or even an evil person. Not an attack by another cat, no scratches, no other punctures, like a cat attack. He has a leg wound probably sustained during altercation.
Finn was taken to Emergency Vet by the feeder. No Upper respiratory issues, which often cause eye loss if untreated. It was determined his eye needed to be removed , but could wait a few days with pain meds and antibiotics, which they provided. The following Monday he was taken to vet for enucleation procedure, leg care, and a neuter, shots, chip.
The feeders and caregivers were thrilled that FRIENDS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY ANIMALS
offered to take Finn under their care and paid all his substantial costs in full. This saved the caregivers much expense. They also offered a lovely foster situation with a very experienced person in the veterinary field to watch over his healing process.
We would very much appreciate if donations are made to this group, so they can continue to offer and provide vital care to animals in need.

My “Got Milk Bunch” are all spayed and neutered, all shots and dewormed. They are 13 weeks old. Available for adoption thru Sunshine's Friends Cat & Dog Rescue

Froth is male orange
Lucky is female tux
Charm is female Calico

All weigh 3 pounds, Charm is a bit timid, but all purr babies, playful, healthy darlings

Kittens are on my mind! Sunshine's Friends Cat & Dog Rescue will be at the Petsmart in Ellicott City this Saturday 7/6/24 12-3pm. SCHOOLS OUT! Come get some extra summer fun, purrring, tail chasing, love bugs. They are adorable and ready to grow up with your family. Many already spayed, neutered, all shots.
* We have adult cats there too!!!
* We have a few special needs kittens also, but they don’t know they have special needs❤️

We are raffling off this gorgeous fabric panel as a fundraiser for SUNSHINE’S FRIENDS CAT AND DOG RESCUE. Batting is between the 2 layers of fabric. Outlined quilted around each cat, and around each square. It has a boarder with a mini print, same for backing fabric, and 5 tab tops to hang it from a rod.
8 gorgeous cats are featured, vivid, graphic, happy, Cottage, Modern, Traditional. Adorable for a child’s room or any place that makes you happy! Measurements in photos but basically 45” long x 27” wide, 5 tabs 2” tall, use a 1” rod to hang. SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE TO ANYWHERE IN THE USA, EXCEPT ALASKA, HAWAII, AND PUERTO RICO

I’m including photos (in comments) of beautiful cats who came to the rescue with major eye problems and congenital defects from inbreeding. There were 6 12-14 week kittens when they arrived. 1 was fine, 5 had issues. Antibiotic’s, eye drops and salve with antibiotics were given. Lots of deworming and flea and tic treatments. A few trips to the vet determined that removing scar tissue from eyes was possible and might improve sight. One is blind in one eye. All needed spay and neutering, shots, and chips.
2 had complicated neutering because they were
Pseudohemoprodites, caused from inbreeding.
I’m showing this to show the need for Spay and Neutering. The little brown one still needs a bit of cosmetic surgery. 2 have double dewclaws ( as did their mother who has since been spayed ). All will be available for adoption thru SUNSHINES FRIENDS CAT AND DOG RESCUE
