We are heartbroken to post that our Bear was found deceased this morning by 57/chestnut.
The owner did confirm and she was able to bring him home for proper closure.
We worked tirelessly moving traps and food stations and I want thank Brian for helping with his continued food stations and to Alyssa for allowing us on your property with our equipment. This is not the outcome we ever want and we grieve/hurt for Bear and his mom.

Update! We have a generalized area where this lost guy is staying but its still a big stretch of housing/area. We have a trap/food station set and he showed up in the front yard vs the back so we added a food station to front yard! We have another neighbor across the street who is setting out food in view of her cameras as he has visited her property as well. Hes inconsistent with timing so right now its his terms and we patiently wait. Hes mostly active between midnight and 6am. Much gratitude to the homeowners/neighborhood for allowing us on thier property.

LOST!! Please keep a look out for this Lil guy. Originally lost from Brooklyn, Oh. Unconfirmed reports/sightings he may be off Bellaire/W. 130th street area! I received a phone call 9-19 at 5:33 pm that he was hit by a car on W117th and Trisket, Cleveland and ran off.
PLEASE try to get a photo of this dog if you see him. He is NOT approachable and will run from YOU!!
Animal control is aware.

SAFELY RECOVERED BY Remi's Pet Recovery 8-29-26 !

Miranda escaped this past week at Rescue Village Geauga Animal Shelter and the staff reached out to Remi's for assistance. I made the drive out Thursday, Aug 27th and set trap/trail cam (trap was not set yet placed and left open to allow her to explore) As soon as I was able to watch this gal I knew we needed some time and patience: she was extremely skittish/scared and hesitant about the trap. This is one important lesson folks that the proper size trap be utilized for these types of dogs as they can/will stretch and if this trap was a traditional 4-foot, she could have taken the chance at tripping the plate/escaping with her long stretch --so we used our 5 ft Tomahawk Gravity Series. This morning I arrived early and placed an egg/sausage biscuit in the middle of the trap- here you can see her finally score and get her treat and then she was trapped shortly after. I loaded her up into my car and transported her safely back to the Shelter! Thank you Kim for helping me bait the trap!

We are estatic to report Buddy, from Brunswick, Ohio who escaped July 4th, was safely secured today by our quick-thinking team of Debbie and Scott. The call came in that he was contained in a garage-- he was not contained when Debbie quickly arrived to the residence on Revered road, Akron, Ohio. She saw him lying down near the garage, sat down and slowly approached feeding him our chicken...she managed to get the slip lead on him ending his 4- week nightmare and got him secured in her car!! I called the owner and she is enroute to be reunited with her beloved Buddy!
He is exhausted.

Remi’s Pet Recovery, N.E. Ohio's leading provider of reuniting lost dogs back with their owners & safely recovering stray/abandon lost dogs is seeking volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors. More information on Remi’s Pet Recovery’s Organization is available at www.remispetrecovery.org
Board members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend (4) quarterly board meetings, make a personal financial contribution, participate in our yearly fundraising efforts, contribute to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability, as well as serving as ambassadors and advocates.
The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with technical support, marketing & advertising, fundraising, grant writing and media expertise, as well as those connected to the local workforce development agency, foundations & community connections.
