Mission Statement:
The Musical Theatre Collective exists as a community for students passionate about exploring theatre through acting, singing, and dancing. MT Collective is equal parts collaboration, education, and production; the Collective strives to train up and equip musical theatre actors, as well as provide opportunities for them to perform.

Open Sings: an open and encouraging workshop environment to present work in front of peers and receive feedback
Open Dances: an open and encouraging workshop environment and class to improve dance skills
Workshops: classes lead by successful SLC alums who are working in the business today
Master Classes: workshops with working professionals in the musical theatre industry
Cabaret Performances: developed through Open Sings, a performance of material by members of MT Collective for the larger SLC student community
Showcase: the culmination of all the work our community has done each year, performed in the spring
Productions: fully realized, although highly stripped down, musicals performed for the SLC community
