In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day, we’re celebrating the incredible educators who joined the Knicks and for the teachers workshop! 🏀🔬
The Knicks Science of Basketball program, presented by Pfizer, brings hands-on, engaging learning to life through the game of basketball, reaching NYC teachers and students with workshops, school takeovers, and field days throughout the season!

Thank you to the teachers who are helping to inspire their students through this basketball centric STEM curriculum, and our partner Pfizer for partnering with the Knicks on such an impactful program!

We’re partnering with and to host pep rallies and spread Knicks playoff energy across the city! First stop: PS 304. Our special guests and talked to the kids about the importance of academics and taught them some ball handling skills 📚🏀

In partnership with Ross Stores, the Jr. Knicks School Takeover program aims to boost literacy among students across New York City. Students at P.S. 306 participated in a Jr. Knicks clinic, which concluded with Knicks legend, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, discussing his book Winning & Grinning and sharing the importance of literacy and academics both on and off the court.
