Trail Life USA is the premier Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused, Adventure, Character, and Leadership program for Young Men.

This past Sunday we had a Court of Advancement and Honors ceremony.
In addition to having Trailmen moving up in ranks, we had two Trailmen, Mylan and Nolan, earn their Standard- a ceremonial staff and the official way a Trailman displays his hard work and achievements.

As boys progress in Trail Life, the Standard is decorated with earned Trail Badges, Service Stars, and Advancement Medallions. The staff is carried on certain outdoor adventures, ceremonial meetings, and serves as a point of pride and a literal tracking tool for milestones achieved along the Trail. As Moses carried a staff and a high calling, so does each Trailman who receive it. We pray they each walk worthy and humbly in the things of the Kingdom!

Congratulations to Mylan and his derby car The Black Beast on winning 3rd place at the Regional Worthy Derby this weekend!

We’re so proud of him and the hard work he put into designing and building his own derby car. Way to go!!! 🙌

🏆 🏎️ Good luck today to our trailman Mylan as he competes in the Regional Worthy Derby with his handmade derby car named The Black Beast!

Mylan won the first competition back in March and advanced to the regional race being held today in Texas! We’re so proud of him and the representation of our Troop!

🚨 Attn: we are on our last leg of our Trail Mix summer camp fundraiser with the deadline for us to register being May 31st. Thank you to everyone who has bought a bag, the ones who have freely given, and the ones who have sponsored a Trailman!

The deadline for Trailmen to register for summer camp is May 31st which means we must sell all Trail Mix bags to make the deadline! Be on the lookout for us around the Hochatown, Broken Bow, Idabel, and the Dequeen area this weekend!

We had an amazing campout this weekend down the road in our beautiful Beavers Bend State Park! This time, the moms and siblings were invited and we all had a great time!

From hanging out at the campsite, picking up trash on Mountain Fork, an all night American flag retirement ceremony, to fighting off the crazy raccoons….we had a blast and made memories!

Thank you to all the family members who camped out and contributed to the hard work and fun! Here at Troop OK-0098, we work hard and play hard!!

Often in Scripture, we witness Jesus removing himself from the bustle of daily life to escape to the wilderness and connect with his father.

In Trail Life, boys regularly leave the whirling world of daily duties and digital distractions behind. They join with their mentors and fathers in the outdoors where relationships form naturally, time seems to slow, and boys are able to listen, connect, and grow.
