Please join us in welcoming our new CEO, Hannah J. McDonald!

We're thrilled to announce that, following a review by the Board's Executive Committee, our Board of Directors has unanimously named Hannah J. McDonald as the next Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Red River Valley Oklahoma, effective September 28, 2026. Hannah J. is the first female CEO to lead BGCRRVOK in its 15-year history, a milestone we're especially proud to share with the girls in our Clubs.

Hannah J. is no stranger to our Clubs. She joined our team in 2022 as our first Director of Development. She then spent two years in public education, working every day with the same kids and families our Clubs serve, before coming back home to BGCRRVOK in June 2025. Most recently, as Chief Development Officer, she has led our fundraising, grants, partnerships, and signature events, including the Crystal Ball, Snow Ball, and 5K for Futures. She has helped raise over $2,540,000 for our members across our 13 locations.

Hannah J. is a Durant native and a Durant High School alumna. She graduated summa cm laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, earned a Master of Education with honors from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and chairs the Marshall County Wellbeing Initiative. She believes every young person deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and succeed and takes our mission– to enable all young people, especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens– to heart.

"I grew up here in southern Oklahoma, and leading an organization that serves its kids is an honor I am embarking on with humble ambition," Hannah J. said. "My focus is straightforward: more kids served, stronger programs, and deeper partnerships with the families, schools, tribal nations, and communities that make this work possible. I’m excited to get to work alongside our incredible team to build Great Futures for every child who walks through our doors in this new capacity."

Please help us welcome Hannah J. to her new role!

We often talk about the impact the Club and our staff have on the kids we serve. Sometimes we forget just how much of an impact our kids have on us, too. 💙

One of our staff members put it best:

"The best part of my day is seeing how much these kids grow. Every one of them is always making progress, and that inspires me more than anything." – Vern

That’s the heart of the Club. The impact truly goes both ways. 💙

Please join us in congratulating Hannah J. McDonald, Boys & Girls Clubs of Red River Valley Oklahoma’s Chief Development Officer, on being selected as a 2026 NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma award winner in the Non-Profit category!

Following her nomination, Hannah J. completed an application detailing her professional accomplishments, awards, honors, dedication to Oklahoma, and commitment to giving back. Her application was then evaluated by a panel of respected business and civic leaders.

The NextGen under 30 winners were recognized at the Oklahoma Capital earlier this week. We’re so proud to see Hannah J.’s talent, creativity, and dedication recognized with this well deserved honor! We’re grateful to have her as part of our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Red River Valley Oklahoma. Congratulations, Hannah J.!
