FYI. For those that haven't figured this out already about parking in the lots at Beaver's Bend State Park. Premium Parking is no longer the parking pass vendor for Oklahoma. Oklahoma State Parks is now doing this themselves. There is no longer an annual subscription available. 14 days is the longest block you can purchase at one time. Here is the link....

We want to let everyone know that the Park decided to put in the stop logs a little early, they are in place now. Also, we learned that Beavers Bend River Floats kayak and canoe rentals will be opening this Saturday so the location of the Mystery Fly will be moving across the bridge to the parking area in front of the Fly Shop. Parking is a little more limited.

Quick reminder to all Fly Fishers. The LMFR Foundation Mystery Fly is just around the corner on Saturday, February 28th. The board meeting and BBQ dinner will be the night before on the 27th at 5:00pm.

12000 Oklahoma raised fingerling rainbow trout were released into the LMFR this morning. 8000 in lower cardiac area. Be on the lookout for them.

Huge thanks to Beavers Bend Fly Shop and Professional Guide Service for helping organize prizes for the 2025 Mystery Fly!

Here's a preview of some of the prizes for tournament participants, as well as the auction on tournament day.

Donated prizes include locally tied flies (some by LMFR guides), cabin stays, guide trips, gear, and local wines. All proceeds from the tournament and auction go back to the Lower Mountain Fork River.

Just a reminder to all Fly Fishers that the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation annual Mystery Fly Tournament and Auction is coming up quickly. The open Board Meeting is Friday evening on the 21st of February followed by the Mystery Fly Tournament on the morning of the 22nd.
