๐ŸŒน Saturdays in the Rose District Leading up to the Broken Arrow Rose Festival ๐ŸŒน

Sometimes the best part of the journey isnโ€™t the destination - itโ€™s what you discover along the way. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’

Today, the Rose District was filled with an amazing community of Great Rose Ring seekers searching for our THIRD hidden Rose Ring - the Rose of friendship, joy and warmth! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒน

๐Ÿ”Ž And this week, the clues were more challenging. There was plenty of thinking, searching, retracing steps and comparing ideas. We may have even stumped a few of you! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ

But one comment we heard again and again made our day -

โ€œEven though we didnโ€™t find it, we had a great time!โ€

And THAT is exactly what we as organizers hoped the Great Rose Ring Hunt would become. โค๏ธ

Families and friends exploring Main Street together. Seekers stopping for ice cream along the way. ๐Ÿฆ People posing at the Festival Photo Frame ๐Ÿ“ธ๐ŸŒน- and even welcoming visitors from the around the world - today from New Zealand!

There were conversations between people who had never met before, clues compared, ideas shared and lots of laughter along the way.

Because somewhere between solving clues, searching, stopping for a treat and meeting someone new, people are discovering something pretty special:

๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’ Congratulations to the family team of Tifanie, David, and Holden for finding the third Rose Ring - the rose of friendship, joy and warmth, the Yellow Rose - during the Great Rose Ring Hunt in preparation for the Broken Arrow Rose Festival, September 11โ€“13!

Tifanie, David, and Holden discovered the cheerful Yellow Rose Ring, sponsored by The Chocolate Shop, tucked away at the corner of Main and El Paso! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ”Ž

The journey first led them to Main and El Paso, where the historic meaning of โ€œEl Pasoโ€ - โ€œthe passageโ€ or โ€œthe passโ€ - offered a nod to the crossings and journeys of long ago. From there, looking backward helped point the way forward, leading them to The Museum Broken Arrow and the stories of our communityโ€™s past. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿงญ

Then it took a keen eye to spot the final clue. There were no yellow roses waiting for them - instead, the sunny little faces of the Black-Eyed Susans blooming in front of the museum which helped reveal where the Yellow Rose Ring was hiding! ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿ’

๐Ÿ’›As for Dolly, well, we just had to include her #1 solo single "Yellow Roses" from 1989 since this week was the Yellow Rose. The yellow rose represents friendship, happiness, and warmth - and this sweet discovery gives us another wonderful reason to celebrate!

๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒนThank you to The Chocolate Shop and everyone who joined in the hunt! It was a challenging series of clues this week, but the joy of community excitement was amazing. Watch for more photos of today's hunt to be posted!!!

๐Ÿ” Now get ready for the fourth and Grand Prize Final Rose Ring, hidden somewhere in the Rose District! The final clue will be released Saturday, September 5, at noon at the sponsoring business and on the social media page.

The Great Rose Ring Hunt continues Saturday, August 29!

Two Rose Rings have been found... and our Rose Ring seekers are getting pretty good at this! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’

So for Rose Ring #3, weโ€™re excited about this hunt where you will really get to explore the Rose District.๐Ÿ”Ž๐ŸŒน

This weekโ€™s clue will be released Saturday, August 29 at NOON on social media and posted at:

๐Ÿ“205 S. Main Street

The lucky finder will receive a special prize package generously provided by The Chocolate Shop by Nouveau, along with official Broken Arrow Rose Festival merchandise. Something sweet is waiting to be discovered! ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŽโœจ

A few simple rules:
๐ŸŒน Search only along Main Street in the Rose District between Elgin Street and E. Ft. Worth Street.
๐Ÿ”Ž No digging or climbing is ever required.
