The scene in the Tulsa area last night. 1 reported death, several injuries and lots of damage. Prayers for my hometown, please!

It has been a crazy night. Our second threat of severe weather this spring brought tornado several tornado touch downs. This photo was from Sand Springs. Damage from these storms extends from Sand Springs eastward through Tulsa. Damage reports for folks east of Tulsa are still coming in. There has been one confirmed fatality in a mobile home park tonight. Employees here at the station had to take cover from the storm as well, as it came into Tulsa.

This wee little one has occupied majority of my time over the past two months! This past year has gone by so quickly for me. I went back to school this January to finish pre-requisites to begin nursing school. Then, three weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. Between a semester of school, my pregnancy and a busy family life, I'm in awe that a new year will begin soon.

I would love to finish this year strong. Shower of Hope Oklahoma and Takin' It to the Tulsa Streets are putting together bags of toiletries, warm hats and gloves and other necessities for the Tulsa homeless to deliver around Christmas.
