Oklahoma Performing Arts - OPA Creatively Growing Character! Oklahoma Performing Arts - OPA
a non-profit, community focused org.

At Oklahoma Performing Arts, we teach character through performance. Founded in 1996, Oklahoma Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization that teaches arts education programs for children ages 3 to 19. OPA offers ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, music, voice, acting and technical theater, as well as public performances, in diverse theatrical genres. Oklahoma Performing Arts takes a unique approach

to arts education. In addition to teaching students how to dance, sing or perform on stage, OPA uses performing arts to help students develop the emotional intelligence, tenacity and grit they need to truly succeed in life. OPA uses a social-emotional learning (SEL) based performing arts curriculum to strengthen children’s emotional control, improve their self-concept, and empower them to establish and maintain healthy relationships. As a result of the SEL-based arts education, Oklahoma Performing Arts produces graduates who are resilient individuals with grit and good character.

Thank you!!

We begin this week with gratitude—for everyone who has supported ARTini Tulsa / Arts Alliance Tulsa (AAT) in ways large and small. Sometimes, that support is simply taking the time to listen, learn, and recognize the power the arts hold in our community.

With ARTini week here, our thanks feel especially meaningful. Events take energy. They can bring long days, a little stress, and plenty of moving pieces. Then we think of the people, businesses, and organizations lifting this work up—and we breathe again.

The Hillie Foundation is a beautiful example of what Tulsa has to be grateful for.

Beyond their support of AAT and the arts, Hillie’s mission is rooted in creating opportunity: extending a hand to those who need one, supporting people and projects that bring hope, and investing in the youngest members of our community.

That kind of vision does more than fund a moment. It helps build a stronger future.

Thank you, Hillie Foundation, for believing in this work and in the people it reaches. And thank you to every sponsor, artist, friend, and supporter who continues to lift ARTini Tulsa and AAT higher.

We feel you. And here we go.
