Charles founded Charles Trombley Ministries and Victory Christian Children’s Home, built and pastored churches, taught Bible school and authored numerous books and news articles.
His long time friend wrote: He will be remembered for how he lived his life to show Christ to all those around him. He was a follower of Jesus and he lived by the scripture in word and deed. He lived a holy life, separated from the world, modest in demeanor and life-style, honest in commerce, direct in communication and gentile in spirit.
His ministry called him to serve as a Evangelist, Pastor, Author, Teacher and Missionary both locally and worldwide. His ministry will continue through those he brought to know Jesus, the books he published and the children that have been raised at Victory Christian Children’s Home in Malawi.
His family will remember him as a Brother, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. One grandchild wrote this in a tribute: You will never find a more Godly example of how we should live out our time on earth. Always focusing on what matters most, being selfless and devoted to leading others to Christ. Most people say “we will keep you in our prayers” as a figure of speech to provide some form of comfort. With Grandpa, you knew that he was genuinely going to verbally lift you up in prayer every morning in his devotional time with Grandma.
What a legacy! His impact on the lives of so many has been profound and will be long lasting. We are certain that he heard the words “well done, thy good and faithful servant.” We love you and we are looking forward to the day when we came be together again for all eternity.
