The names of all 8 crew members of the B-52 crash at Edward’s AFB have been released following final notifications to the families.

Today, we can share their names and honor them.

The skies of heaven have gained 8 more guardians.

Clear Skies and Tailwinds to our Fallen. Till we meet again in the Halls of Valhalla!

Happy Flag Day 🇺🇸

Today, we honor the American flag, a powerful symbol of freedom, sacrifice, unity, and hope.

For generations, our flag has flown over battlefields, military bases, schools, homes, and communities across our nation. It represents the courage of those who have served, the sacrifices of military families, and the enduring spirit of the United States of America.

For Blue Star Mothers, the flag holds special meaning. It reminds us of the sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, and loved ones who have answered the call to serve our country. It stands as a symbol of their commitment, dedication, and willingness to defend the freedoms we cherish.

We are blessed to have our own Veteran Blue Star Mother in our chapter. She’s hardworking, loving, caring but yet fierce in her own way!! A true Hero to us all! Thank you to All Female Veterans Today is Your National Day!

We had a great group here today! Ford United Distribution Center has been one of our largest supporters for 4 years and this morning they came to tour the facility and see what they’ve been supporting!! They even brought lunch!!

Why We Wear the Blue Star 💙

The Blue Star is more than a symbol.

It represents a son, daughter, spouse, or loved one who is serving our nation in the United States Armed Forces. It is a visible reminder that a family member has answered the call to serve and that an entire family shares in that commitment.

The tradition of the Blue Star Service Banner dates back to World War I when families proudly displayed a blue star in their window to signify a loved one serving in the military. Today, the Blue Star remains a powerful symbol of service, sacrifice, pride, and hope.

For Blue Star Mothers, the Blue Star represents the pride we feel for our children who wear the uniform. It also represents the sleepless nights, the deployments, the missed holidays, and the unwavering support we provide from home.

When you see a Blue Star, remember that behind it is a military family standing strong alongside their service member.

We wear the Blue Star with pride because it tells a story of love, service, sacrifice, and dedication to our nation. 🇺🇸💙

Supporting our Veterans is a huge part of who we are!! Sharing this information for our friends at Claremore Veterans Home.. SHARE this flier!! I know they would love to have folks join them!

On June 5th, we delivered white T shirts for this event, 2X provided by our chapter and 3X-5X provided by the Broken Arrow Veterans Center. The excitement is shown on Recreational Director, Ashley’s expression!!

Are you a current Blue Star Mother? It's time to renew your membership for the 2026 2027 fiscal year!

Are you the mother, stepmother, grandmother, foster mother, or legal guardian of a service member serving in the Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserves? We would love to welcome you into the Blue Star Mothers family.

For just $30 per year, your membership helps support our mission of supporting military families, active duty service members, veterans, and one another. Membership runs from September 1 through August 31.

When renewing or joining, you will need to select a chapter by its state and chapter number (example: OH21, TX13, NY14, etc.).

One of the greatest blessings of this military journey is the friendships formed along the way. 💙

Military moms share a bond that is hard to explain to others. We understand the pride, the worry, the missed holidays, the late night tears, the deployments, the homecomings, and the strength it takes to support our sons and daughters from afar.

Sometimes the people who truly understand are the ones walking the same path beside you.

Through Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., many lifelong friendships have been built through shared experiences, support, laughter, prayers, and encouragement during both the joyful and difficult moments of military life.

Military mom friendships are more than connections. They become family.
