With 10 children (all with disabilities) in our full time care...
2 more children in our care about to transition out onto their own...
95 students that come daily to One Gift Academy
And over half of those students have physical and learning disabilities - I am happy to say our children's center has been functioning for 2025.
Did we have scary moments where gangs came within miles and shooting/protests and burning vehicles caused us to lock down?
Yes.
But we have 38 dedicated full time staff members that still need YOUR support.

To donate for 2025 checks need to be postmarked by the 31st and donations need to be in online before midnight.
Please help us get to where we need to be NOW and monthly as we have lost a significant amount of support BUT WE ARE STILL FULLY FUNCTIONING AND NEED YOUR HELP TO SPREAD THE WORD.
We need churches, businesses, small groups, friends, family and those we depend on to get our foot in the door for 2026. We can't keep going this way and with the ever lingering chance that we have to evacuate ... we won't even have the funds to do that.
So please help us help children who are in desperate need. Schooling and education IS A GIFT as are jobs for our staff and food for our children with disabilities.
