THE 1% CHALLENGE

The world gave Cabo Verde a 1% chance.

Yet they continue to show what can happen when people believe, work hard, stay united, and refuse to give up on their dreams.

At SABURA Youth Programs, we see that same spirit in our youth every day.

This summer, more than 150 young people will come together to learn, grow, build friendships, explore their culture, develop leadership skills, and discover what is possible.

In honor of the resilience and pride being displayed on the world stage, we're launching the 1% Challenge.

🌍 Happy International Children's Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate the dreams, talents, voices, and potential of children everywhere.

At SABURA Youth Programs, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to learn, lead, belong, and thrive. For more than a decade, we have worked alongside youth and families to create safe spaces where young people can build friendships, develop leadership skills, explore new experiences, and discover their strengths.

As we prepare for Summer 2026, we are excited to launch our Investing in Brockton's Youth Campaign.

This summer, SABURA will serve more than 130 youth through leadership development, educational enrichment, cultural programming, recreation, wellness activities, and meaningful community experiences.

We invite you to join us in celebrating International Children's Day by investing in the future of Brockton's youth.

Every contribution, sponsorship, and share helps create opportunities that empower young people to learn, grow, and succeed.

As part of our ongoing effort to share community resources with families, we’re inviting parents and caregivers to a Family Informational Session in partnership with Unlimited Behavioral Health Services (UBHS).
This session is a chance for families to learn more about behavioral health services and supports available in the community, hear directly from a local provider, and ask questions in a welcoming space.

⏰ 5:30 PM
📍 225 Quincy Ave., Brockton
If you’re interested but unable to attend on this date, feel free to let us know and we can help make sure information is shared or that someone follows up with you.
