Thank you so much to everyone who came out for the first PTA game night of the year! If you missed it, don't worry we'll do it again. Make sure you download Parent Square to keep up on all the school info and PTA events. We had so much fun and hope you did too.

Good afternoon Bobcat families. On Friday we celebrated the retirement of two of the Baker's most inspirational and incredible women, Mrs. Todd and Mrs. Dillingham. We will all miss them very much but the impact they have made in our school will be felt forever. We wish them both nothing but the best and a well deserved retirement. Thank you for everything Toni and Loren! 🐾💚

The Mary E Baker PTA was honored to celebrate this year's Elaine Santos scholarship recipient today, Maxwell Bassett. We were so grateful that his former teachers Mrs. Graf, Mrs. Hopkins, and Ms. Trucchi and our principal Mrs. Werb were able to join us. Maxwell is a true Bobcat through and through. He will be attending Harvard in the fall and majoring in physics. We are so proud of Maxwell and all he has accomplished as well as all the good he will bring to the world in his future. Congratulations Maxwell!

Elaine Santos was a beloved first grade teacher at the Baker and Ashfield, where she had worked for over 30 years. In 2013, the Baker PTA created a scholarship to honor her memory. It is awarded each year to a graduating senior who attended the Baker for three years and embodies the Baker Bobcat spirit. Baker Bobcats Believe in Achievement, Kindness, Effort, and Respect!

Ending staff appreciation week with shirts featuring a custom design by our talented art teacher Erin McCarthy! Thank you to all the teachers and staff at the Baker School for all you do for our Bobcats. The Baker School really is a special place because of all of you. The PTA hopes you have felt our love and gratitude this week.

Good afternoon Baker families! We kicked off teacher and staff appreciation week this morning with some breakfast goodies and a visit from Restoration Coffee. The PTA has treats planned all week but we need your help on Thursday. Your Bobcat should have come home with this flyer and a page of Paws. We want the kids to fill them out for the staff members that they appreciate. A lunch worker, counselor, building para, whatever they choose! They can bring them back and give them out on Thursday or any day they want really. Thanks!

Who's ready for a book fair?! 🎉
Our PTA members and even everyone's favorite school librarian were hard at work tonight setting up the book fair for conferences tomorrow and Friday.

Don't forget we will also have a bake sale set up with a bunch of goodies for sale. We can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
