BAMSI’s wraparound services:
Intensive Care Coordination (ICC): ICC helps a young person to succeed in the home and community by building new skills, helping families to access community supports, and ensuring that all service providers are “on the same page” and working together. Through a process called Wraparound, the family works with a team to meet the specific needs of the youth and family, building on the family’s strengths and supporting the family’s goals.
In-home family therapy (IHT): IHT is a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a master's level clinician and the youth and family for the purpose of treating the youth's behavioral health needs, including the family's ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family.
Therapeutic mentoring (TM): TM offers structured, one-to-one, strength based services between a therapeutic mentor and a youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication needs. Services include supporting, coaching, and training the youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communications, problem-solving and conflict resolution, and appropriately relating to other children as well as adults, in recreational and social activities pursuant to a behavioral treatment plan developed by provider(s) working with the youth.
