Be ready for the possibility of as snow storm coming!
Make sure to thank our local and statewide DOT brothers and sisters!

Governor Hochul urged caution in advance of a winter storm forecast to impact most of the state, particularly the North Country, Mohawk Valley, Capital Region, Mid-Hudson and Central New York regions, with a mixture of snow and rain beginning Thursday and continuing through Friday.

Congratulations!!!

*drum roll please* presenting our December Local of the Month!

This month's Local of the Month is the Erie County Educational Local 868, which is comprised of several school districts around Erie County.

This year, Erie County Educational celebrated 50 years with CSEA–50 years!! Their activism and solidarity with each other has allowed their local and each of its respective units to thrive despite contentious contract negotiations throughout the years.

From bus drivers to teacher aids–each and every member of Local 868 cares so deeply about the wellbeing of their students and it has shown in their commitment and dedication to their professions.

Thank you all for everything you do and congratulations!

Come check out our new Local Health and Safety Committee and Joint Task Force!

Happy October! This month, CSEA Western Region 6 is launching a Local of the Month award. This month, the award recipient is SUNY Brockport – Local 601 for establishing their very own Health and Safety Committee. The member-run committee directly addresses health and safety standards and precautions and addresses outstanding on-campus violations.
