Another great camping adventure for Troop 124 ... 1st Annual Winter Camp at Camp Shenandoah. 12 scouts and 3 adults attended earning 38 merit badges, sleeping in tents, enjoying the great food they cooked for us, and scouts earned 24 frost points as well. Awesome job scouts! Thank you to our adults for teaching classes, working in the kitchen, and checking in on our crew and taking great pics.

Ringing bells for Salvation Army at Walmart in Timberville, participating in Wreaths Across America in Harrisonburg at Woodbine Cemetery, and helping VFW Post 9660 at Chimney Rock with their Annual Children's Christmas Party.

Boy Scouts from Troop 124 have been busy serving their community in December. From ringing the bells for Salvation Army Red Kettle, marching in Christmas Parade, honoring our veterans at Wreaths Across America to helping the VFW with their Annual Children's Christmas Party they show what caring and serving means. Thank you all who participated and adults who helped too.
