On Wednesday morning THRiVE hosted our Wheelchair Pickleball Showcase! The event was help to raise awareness within the community about the programming that THRiVE offers to not just wheelchair athletes, but to veterans and beyond.

We were pleased to have been joined by individuals from the Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission CCVSC , 3 Trackers of Ohio , and a surprise visit from the Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne

It was amazing to see so many of our athletes out on the court uniting to further the sport of wheelchair pickleball in Northeast Ohio!

Meet Fred, one of our amazing wheelchair athletes!

Fred came to THRiVE’s Wheelchair Tennis & Pickleball to improve his skills and participate in the community.

Off the court Fred enjoys snow and water skiing as well as spending time with fellow veterans!

We are so grateful to have Fred be an active part of the THRiVE family!

Built on a foundation of skills, teamwork, and connection, our comprehensive ROGY program helps kids to build their tennis skills and develop their game through engaging drills, match play, and team based activities.
