Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our 1.35 million members - who perform community service in 207 countries and geographic areas - are different in many ways, but share a core belief: community is what we make it. When you become a member of a Lions club, you join a global service network. So, at the same time you're doing local community service, you can also contribute to Lions volunteer efforts around the world.

After hearing that the budget for senior meals has been cut, the Lions donated money to help cover some of the shortfall.
Lion Holly Samociuk had an idea to put up a jar asking our turkey shoot supporters to donate towards congregate meals. And they came through. We presented Senior Services with a check for $200. Gosh, we have the BEST shooters and we are so appreciative of them!!!

Our wonderful turkey shooters gave generously today when they learned that the funding for congregate meals had been cut. What’s in the jar could pay for 2 day’s worth of meals for seniors. Gotta love those shooters❤️

LEO Club is a student group which requires a commitment to service through LEADERSHIP, EXPERIENCE, and OPPORTUNITY. The students plan our events each year to increase experiences and opportunities in a variety of areas within our community. This year the group elected to stay after school on Earth Day to clean up the courtyard and plant flowers as a beautification project. In addition, our students planted flowers in the flower planters by the track.
Thank you to Cassandra Charlton, Alyssa Clancy, Allyson Crockett, Sydnie Donahue, Elena Ferreira, Austin Jamrog, Tatyanna Nogeurra, Aislinn Recinos, Mikilana Vong, Russell Williams, Ryleigh Wollenberg, and Cearra Wormstedt for donating your time this afternoon to make our courtyard a prettier, more welcoming place for our staff and students! They are all Pride Worthy!

Another successful turkey shoot thanks to our great volunteers and fantastic supporters.
