Bristow 4-H Bristow, OK 4-H Creek County Youth Organization What is a 4-H Club? A 4-H club is a group of young people and adults who meet regularly for fun and learning.

Clubs are usually made up of families from a community and often formed around schools, churches or community centers. Most clubs hold monthly meetings attended by members and their parents. Club members elect officers who lead the group and the meetings. An adult club leader advises the officers. The meetings usually last less than two hours. The time is equally divided among club business, recre

ation and educational programs. A well-organized 4-H club meeting provides opportunities for every member to be involved.

Entries are due tomorrow!

We are just one week away from our annual Pumpkin Show, and there are some exciting new changes this year! First, we will only be focusing on the pumpkins and will not be doing the Impressive Dress Contest (it will be held next month!) Second, we are adding a Pumpkin Chunkin' contest to see who can build the best launcher - we are going for distance here! Most information can be found in the October Newsletter and your 4-H Handbook!

Registration for the Pumpkin Show and Launching Contest needs to be completed by this Friday, Oct. 18th at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/N0hTB42aXa

We will be accepting entries on Oct. 22 from 8am- 6pm. Judging will begin immediately!

We are also adding some new awards!

Teen Choice awards for the Funniest, Most Creative, and Most Original Design will be selected by our Teen Leadership Council Members!

We are also adding Viewers Choice awards for the top 3 pumpkins! Everyone will be able to purchase tickets 2/$1 (no limit on how many tickets/votes can be purchased) to vote for their favorite pumpkin! Money raised will be donated to the state-wide 4-H Fundraiser Change for Change for the Children's Hospital!!!

There will be concession on site. If you would like to donate some of your extra baked goods, please package them to sell for $1. Money raised from the concession will go to the Parent-Volunteer Councils fund which goes straight back to our kids! So please help out a good cause and show off your tasty fall treats!

🚀 Registration is NOW OPEN for our Oklahoma 4-H STEM Day: STEM for Y’all! 🚀

Join us for a day filled with hands-on workshops, a service-learning project and a share fair where you can showcase your STEM journey. From the achievement project to wildlife and fisheries, discover how STEM is everywhere! 🔬

They really out did themselves, they had 62 first place ribbons at the Creek County Fair that moved on to the Tulsa State Fair!! I won’t list every item that they made but I will list names and how many blue ribbons 😊🍀😊
