Here at Must Love Cats, every adoption is a victory, but adult and senior adoptions hold a deeply special place in our hearts. So many of these resilient souls were surrendered for reasons beyond their control, ripped away from the only families they ever knew to wait in foster care—sometimes for years—just hoping for a second chance. Because they are so often overlooked, we celebrate incredibly loudly when one is finally chosen. Meet the ultimate duo: Max & Charlie! 😺😺

While they might not officially be a "bonded pair," they are practically joined at the hip. They do everything together, and honestly, life is just better when they're together. Because they are so incredibly active, we want them adopted together—OR, if adopted separately, they must each go to a home that already has a playful, young kitty sibling.

What life with them looks like:

Eat ➡️ Play ➡️ Quick Snuggle ➡️ Play some more! 🔄

Charlie is the social coordinator—he loves everyone, though he takes a few days to fully adjust to new friends. Max is the bouncer—he's a little skeptical of strangers at first, but once you're in, you're in, and he becomes a total lovebug.

Both are amazing with kids! Max has just one rule: no dogs allowed. 🙅‍♂️🐶

While our rescue director was away on a well-deserved vacation, the kittens staged a dramatic "medical strike" by instantly sneezing, limping, and forcing a mountain of unexpected vet trips. Now that she's back, the tiny fraudsters are feeling much better, but they've left behind a mountain of unexpected medical bills as a return gift.
