Honored to have the endorsement of NFIB Tennessee.

Their members are the folks running crews, shops, and family businesses here, and their word carries weight with me.

Faith. Family. Freedom. In that order. Every time.

What a beautiful lady. From memories and moments visiting Dollywood, the amazing music, Imagination Library, and how she took care of her own hometown, Dolly’s legacy will live on.

Last night, I closed a chapter that began four years ago.

I attended my final meeting as a Sullivan County Commissioner and was incredibly touched to be recognized for my four years of service. Thank you Mayor Venable.

When I first took this seat, I knew I wanted to work hard, ask questions, listen to the people I represented, and never forget who I worked for. What I didn’t know was just how much these four years would teach me.

Public service has stretched me. It has challenged me. There have been victories I’m incredibly proud of, difficult decisions, long meetings, hard conversations, and certainly a few lessons learned along the way.

But more than anything, there have been people.

People who called me, stopped me in the grocery store, invited me into their schools, businesses, farms and communities, shared their concerns, trusted me with their stories, and encouraged me along the way.

To the people of Sullivan County: thank you.

Thank you for trusting me with the privilege of representing you. I never took that responsibility lightly, and serving you these last four years has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

This ending also feels much more bittersweet than I ever imagined it would.

The last picture was taken four years ago, around the time this chapter of my life was beginning. Big Papa was still here. I had no idea then what the next four years would hold—or that just days before this chapter closed, we would have to say goodbye to him.

Losing Big Papa has a way of putting everything into perspective.

Titles change. Positions change. Seasons come and go. But the people we love, the lives we touch, the way we treat others, and what we leave behind—that’s what really matters.

So today, I’m not thinking as much about an ending as I am about how grateful I am for the journey.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve.
Grateful for the people I’ve met.
Grateful for the lessons I’ve learned.
Grateful for the people who have walked beside me.

And especially aware today of just how precious four years can be.

One chapter has closed, and another is beginning.

Thank you, Sullivan County. It has truly been an honor. ❤️

Well… now comes the glamorous part of winning an election. 😂

Picking up campaign signs!

We’re working on getting our signs picked up all across District 1. If you have a Means sign in your yard, you’re welcome to take it down and hang onto it to put back out for the general election in November and/or send us a message and we’ll be glad to pick it up.

And to everyone who let us put a sign in your yard, field, business, or along your property over these past several months — thank you. Seeing those signs all across District 1 meant more than you know.

Now it’s time to trade campaign signs for some real work. 🇺🇸

Enjoy this awesome Lego creation from one of our great supporters 😊

Wow. Thank you, District 1!

I am incredibly humbled and grateful for the trust you placed in me tonight. There are so many people who made this possible—those who prayed for us, knocked doors, made calls, put out signs, donated, volunteered, encouraged us, and showed up to vote. I could never thank you enough.

I also want to thank Representative John Crawford for his years of service to our community. I know what it takes for a family to go through a campaign, and I truly wish him and his family the very best.

Most of all, I thank God for His faithfulness, my husband Matt and our family for standing beside me through every bit of this, and all of you for believing in what we could accomplish together.

Whether you voted for me or not, I will work hard to represent you and be a voice for the people of District 1.

Tonight, we’re just incredibly thankful.

Tomorrow, we get to work. ❤️🇺🇸

Whatever else is on your list today, add this one thing: go vote.

I’ve put everything I have into this campaign, and now it’s in your hands. District 1, I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Faith. Family. Freedom. In that order. Every time.
