You’ve Got a Friend at BGCTR-Blountstown! We started the day off with this song and it seemed to turn into the theme of the day!

After gym time, we had our daily meeting with Journal Writing. We wrote about our friends using descriptive words. The more descriptive the more stickers students could earn after sharing. Students can trade stickers for prizes!

Next we had a “There’s a Snake in My Boot Challenge.” Students got 4 chances to ring the boot with a snake. Cheyenne was the first kid to take a win!

Jackson Pettis Earned his Ears today! Good job, Jackson!

We spent 20 minutes of our day Reading, we are finishing up some coloring contests, and we decorated American flags. Mr. Tanner’s room will have three sets of flags flying by tomorrow. We have learned about Columbia, France, and now the USA. 🇺🇸 We also have brainstormed facts about each!

Callen joined Gibson in Animal Corner today with a whale. Gibson brought in our nation’s animal, The Bald Eagle. 🦅 Yes, he is picking these animals to stay on theme and is researching facts each night! He has inspired us all to do an Animal Corner project. They will be pictured tomorrow.

So much fun- yet- so much learning taking place! BGCTR-Blountstown is the place to be!

Thank you to our parents who keep spoiling the teachers with doughnuts and dot cakes! 😋
