On Sunday, June 7, the Rotary Club of Bristol had the distinct honor of distributing over $320,000 in scholarships. The event was held at the Doubletree Hotel in Bristol. In talking to all of these recipients, their goals are inspiring. It gives us great joy each year to bring this scholarship to life. We wish all of our scholarship recipients, all the happiness, success, and health in their new journey.

On Tuesday, June 9, we had breakfast with the Interact Club at Bristol Central High School. They are an extremely enlightening group of young adults. At the same breakfast, we honored on her retirement, their advisor for 28 years Mrs. Kelly Moynahan-Dinoia. Kelly has touched the hearts and minds of hundreds of students over those 28 years and truly will be missed. We wish Kelly all the happiness and health in her retirement..

Our “Epic Day of Service” was a great success.
Along with other Rotary Clubs in the area the Bristol Rotary Club helped to create 25,000 meals that will be going to Haiti.
I want to thank Norm, Heather, Christine, and soon to be Rotarian Maria.
You all should be very proud of the job you did today and the number of hungry families you are feeding.
