2026 Bristol 4th of July Parade Float Winners!

The Bristol 4th of July Committee would like to congratulate this year’s parade float winners! Our judges had a difficult job with so many creative and patriotic entries celebrating America’s 250th Birthday.

Whew… what an incredible few days! ❤️🤍💙

The committee is taking a well-deserved breather after another amazing Bristol 4th of July celebration. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, participated, and helped make this year’s festivities so special.

While we catch our breath, we’d love to relive the memories through your eyes! 📸

If you snapped photos or videos of the parade, outhouse race, floats, fireworks, or any of the festivities, please share them and be sure to tag us! We’d love to see your favorite moments and may even feature some of them on our page (with credit, of course).

Please remember:
🚫 No parking in the roadway
🚫 No parking along the parade route
🚫 Roads will be closed BY 9:45. Plan accordingly. Once the roads are closed all traffic other than emergency vehicles will not be permitted!
🚫 Please be patient. It is hot and we are tired. We will work as quickly as we can to get you in and out of town safely.
🚫 If there are cones or barriers in the roadway please DO NOT try and go around them. They are there for everyone’s safety.

Below, in red, is the route for the 4th of July Parade in Bristol.

It starts at the intersection of Liberty St & W Pleasant St and ends on Airport Dr.

Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30 AM. Parade starts at 10:30 AM.

Streets will be closed to vehicle traffic by 9:45 AM to allow time to set up traffic control devices. Please plan accordingly.

PARKING: Vehicles parked on the travel portion of the roadway, blocking an intersection, driveway, or fire hydrant, are subject to a ticket and may be towed at the owner's expense.

If you need to reach Pine St after the streets are closed, use the North end of North St, which is accessible by Plank Rd and Monkton Rd.

Festivities at the Bristol Rec Park
Join us on July 3rd at the Bristol Rec Field for vendors, music, games and dunk tank fun. This year the dunk tank is run by the boy's lacrosse team. From 6pm-10pm.

We anticipate more people this year. Please be patient when arriving and leaving. Be cautious of people walking.

Parking exiting onto Liberty St will be directed North towards Pine St.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped raise the giant American flag that proudly welcomes visitors into town, assisted with event logistics, and installed parade signs throughout the community on this hot summer day. These jobs happen quietly behind the scenes, but they take a lot of time, teamwork, and dedication.

📧 Lineup numbers and final parade instructions will be emailed on July 3. Please be patient as there are a lot of logistics that go into this. We cannot assign numbers until the applications close.
