We need a law that will enable us to meet whatever challenges that the future may bring. Whether it's PFAS contamination, power plant emissions, or data centers, the people need a way to prevent harm before it happens. A Green Amendment has the ability to do that for the people.

Boulder Colorado is suing fossil fuel giants Suncor and Exxon, for their role in climate change. Now the Supreme Court is weighing whether it is in their purview to hear the case at all.

Justice Samuel Alito recused himself from the case, likely from interest in fossil fuel companies, so the court can tie 4-4.

"If the Supreme Court decides this case is not in its jurisdiction, or it sides with Boulder, the case will go back to be heard in Colorado. But environmental advocates worry that if the court sides with fossil fuel companies, it will hurt other climate accountability lawsuits brought across the country."
