Don't eat it!
PA DEP, DOH, PFBC issued a Do Not Eat advisory for fish in the Wissahickon Creek in Montgomery and Philadelphia counties because of high levels of PFOS.

Trout stocking has also been canceled as a result.

It's right there in the Constitution. We have a right to a clean, safe, and healthy environment that Pennsylvania government officials and agencies have a duty to protect and preserve for the benefit of the people, for present and future generations. They must use this opportunity to keep our communities and environment safe from power and water hungry data center development.

“For Pennsylvanians, they get it. They saw how duped we were by fracking,” van Rossum said. “As activists, advocates, the truth is the lessons learned are making sure we’re getting in there earlier ― more quickly ― to help people understand what it means to have these data centers. Getting in there before the data centers. Being very, very clear this is not a political issue, it’s a people issue.”

We sent a very clear message to all our elected officials in Harrisburg yesterday.
Data centers are the problem. They are driving up our costs, wreaking havoc on our communities, taking up our land and water.
And for what? A surveillance state? To harvest our data? To fill the pockets of billionaires? People are stressed, the environment is stressed— and no data center backed by fossil fuels is going to make any of it better.

Thank you to the many organizations and community members who came out yesterday in solidarity. We Pennsylvanians have a Constitutional Right to a clean safe and healthy environment and we are not giving that up to anyone or any thing!
