Our Story

This page is created in memory of Cliff Ferreira Jr. Our first fundraising event, Ride to Live Bike Run, was held on July 15, 2017 to raise money for a Scholarship Fund in honor of Cliff. Cliff was an avid biker and was always riding his Harley. The event was successful and we were able to donate a portion of the proceeds to the SAL Foundation. We raised enough money to issue 2 - $1,000 scholarships for Mt. Hope High School students who will be continuing their education in an art program. We chose art because Cliff was passionate about drawing. The recipients of the scholarships issued in June 2018 are Nathanial Boyd & Ezekiel Salley. In August 2017, we opened a Non-Profit organization to continue our fundraising events. Our next event is the 2nd Annual Ride to Live Bike Run and Benefit Dinner which will be held at the VFW in Bristol, RI on September 29, 2018. We hope you are as excited as we are to continue to honor Cliff’s memory.
