Severe Drought⚠️⚠️

Due to ongoing drought conditions in Liberty County and surrounding areas, the risk of wildfires is extremely high. Outdoor debris burning of any kind is banned effective March 23, 2026. Please take precautions to prevent fires, such as properly disposing of ci******es, avoid grilling in dry areas, and ensuring lawn mowers or vehicles do not create sparks.

Thank You to everyone who came out and supported our department today at our fundraiser lunch. Also huge Thank you to everyone who donated food and their time, volunteers, friends and family. Congratulations to Craig Cotton and Glen Mcclain for being the lucky winners for the 2 TT25 garmin dog collars. Thank you Melissa Peddie for taking food to those who needed it, we really appreciate everything you do for this county.

Only three weeks left to buy raffle tickets. We have two collars up for raffle,and we will be pulling two winning tickets on Saturday December 27th. Tickets are at Sumatra Grocery 1 Stop. Tickets will be available for purchase at our 1st Annual Hunters Lunch Fundraiser on Saturday December 27th. Winning tickets will be pulled after the Fundraiser is over.

Due to current fire conditions, a burn ban has been issued for Liberty County, effective November 21st, 2025.

No open burning will be allowed. This includes campfires, bonfires, and burning of yard waste. Let's prioritize safety and prevent wildfires! 🌳💚

🌀HURRICANE SUPPLIES DROP OFF LOCATION🌀

You can drop off supplies starting today at these locatiations, We plan is to have the trailer packed by Wednesday October the 2nd with the doors closed and heading out on Thursday the 3rd.

-Liberty County Florida, Sheriff's Office, in the new dispatch lobby on Central Street in Bristol.

-Hosford-Telogia Volunteer Fire Dept, Contact us on Facebook or Dallas Ramer to plan a drop off.
