The vision for Grey to Glory started in 2019 with just me & Jesus. In early 2020 Grey to Glory, Inc became a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization helping elders in Liberty and Calhoun counties with things like hot meals, yard work, house cleans, ramps, DME, personal care items, and help with sitters & CNAs through the use of volunteers and monetary donations. Over the course of several years,

it has now added its sister organization, Grey to Glory Home Health. This is a for-profit organization that provides skilled needs (RNs/LPNs, Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) through use of referrals from hospitals, rehabs, and MD offices. We provide in home care for disease teaching, medication management, wound care, Foley catheter care, IV Abx teaching, etc. Our FOR -PROFIT donates to our NON-PROFIT ensuring that funds go right back into what matters most - the elder! So thankful for my crew tonight!! They all agreed to take on more work tonight as we had a late night office party to catch up on things while our other half (Carlee Lawrence) enjoys her maternity leave.

I hope no matter how many patients we get that we can always be close knit and everyone feel valued at our table ❤️

To me, Grey to Glory, was always about being more than just a skilled home health. Owning a Skilled Home Health agency come from a heart of just wanting to do more. I needed more money to do the Extra things and so out of that burden come the skilled agency.

I wanted a place FOR the elders. I wanted a place ABOUT the elders. I wanted to have something more then JUST what Medicare was providing. Something more then just a business that brought money for our pockets.

THIS is what Feels my cup- THIS is what I work sooo hard for- This is how I feel the goodness of God when I can visually see the vision HE gave being brought to life. I want an agency with workers like Kara who go beyond a job and make someone who is alone and forgot about feel loved and valued.

I have had employees that have lasted 1 month because in all honesty, I’m not looking for a warm body. I’m looking for people that are in places I can’t be bc I can’t be everywhere.

Thank you Kara for making my heart happy as I saw you at “work” today. Thank you for shining such a bright light to a company that Derringer and I have worked so so hard for.

I’ve heard it said- that we are hiring a lot of employees right out of highschool (TRUE because we love to encourage work ethic and we have many clients who are companion only).

Rest assured, for those concerned, we have CNAs and many employees who have been in the game longer than some to help with all the needs of your loved one.

With that said, help me welcome someone who has been doing this home health gig for quite some time.
