NH DAY HIKING SEMINAR

Hikers have a great opportunity to bolster their trails skills with the NH Day Hiking seminar from a veteran hiker, trip leader, and wilderness program director. The Outdoors Workshops program at Hill Village Bible Church welcomes Chris Roukes. He will cover summer and shoulder season day hiking for the broad spectrum of those interested in increasing their knowledge and skills – from those interested in starting with short hikes in their local area to those out to finish their 4000-footer club. His outline includes where to hike, when to hike, how to hike and what gear to choose. Subsequent to his hiking leadership experiences, Chris greatly benefitted from 30 years’ experience with the Forest Service and a conservation organization advising many individuals, families and groups on their hiking plans. Chris looks forward to again sharing with those attending. Please join us Tuesday June 30, 2026 at Slim Baker Lodge from 6 to 7:30 for an informative evening.

📍 Location: Slim Baker Area, meet at the Lodge, 301 New Chester Mountain Rd, Bristol, NH
📅 Date & Time: Thursday, June 11th, 6:00–7:30 PM
👥 Who Can Attend: Individuals or families welcome!

This event is free and open to the public. Please register by contacting Jeff Beach: [email protected] or call 603. 770.4386.

🌍💚 Happy Earth Day! 💚🌍

Today is a reminder that the small choices we make every day can have a big impact on the world around us. Conservation isn’t just a word—it’s a commitment to protecting the forests, waters, wildlife, and open spaces that make our planet so incredible. 🌲💧🦋

Whether it’s taking a walk in nature, reducing waste, or supporting local conservation efforts, every action counts. Together, we can help preserve these natural spaces for future generations to explore and enjoy. 🌱✨

Let’s celebrate by giving back to the Earth and continuing to care for the places we love. 💚🌎
